FAQ
Which platforms work, and does our league need to be public?
Sleeper and ESPN today, and yes: our writers can only write about a league they can read, so the league has to be viewable to us. Without that, no editions. Sleeper: leagues are readable by ID, so you’re done. ESPN: set the league to public viewing (League Settings → Basic Settings → one toggle); if you’d rather keep it private, the commissioner can paste two ESPN cookies into their settings page instead, and we show exactly how. Yahoo: Yahoo is still approving our automatic connection, and we won’t take Yahoo leagues until it’s reliable; email us and we’ll tell you the day it’s ready. NFL.com leagues: same.
Who sees our paper?
Your league site lives at its own address; anyone with the link can read it, and we don’t list it anywhere or let search engines index it. The commissioner gets the link in their settings and in the email that arrives with every edition, and shares it with the league. Team names and manager display names appear as they do on your platform; emails never appear anywhere. The commissioner can leave any manager out of the roast segments from the settings page.
Who pays?
One person, usually the commissioner, buys for the whole league. Most leagues fold it into the buy-in or split it in the group chat. There are no per-manager accounts to set up.
What does the roast dial do?
It sets how hard the roast-leaning writers go: Gentle, Standard or No mercy. It applies to every writer you pick. From the settings page, the commissioner can exclude any manager from the roast segments with a checkbox, and every writer sticks to fantasy decisions, never anyone’s actual life.
Can we name our own paper?
Your paper’s name is picked from a list we generate from your league’s name (The [Your League] Post, Sentinel, Gazette, Tribune and so on). You can change it any time from your settings. We don’t take custom names, since your paper lives on our domain.
Are the stats right?
Every number in every story is checked against your league’s data before it publishes. If we get one wrong, tell us and the correction runs in the next edition, which is exactly what a real paper would do.
How fast is setup?
Five minutes. Sign in with your email (no password to remember), connect your league, pick your writers and paper name, choose a plan and pay. Your first edition arrives at the next scheduled slot for your plan; buy on a Monday and your Tuesday recap is the first one.
What if we don’t like it?
Email us within 7 days of purchase and you get a full refund, no questions asked. After that, you keep the paper for the season.
